Dr Scott-Charlton is a rheumatologist specialising in the treatment of a wide range of rheumatic diseases. He has a particular interest in the holistic care of patients with rheumatic disease, as well as the pharmacology and appropriate use of the disease modifying medications used in rheumatic disease, with a particular focus in crystal arthritis.

He is also interested in the field of transitional rheumatology, the management of paediatric rheumatic conditions in the transition to the adult rheumatology clinic.

His research interests focus around the pharmacology of novel biologic therapies in inflammatory and non-inflammatory rheumatic disease.
